Beyond Shame, written by Karim Khan, and directed by Gitika Buttoo, opened for a 3 day studio run at Derby Theatre, before touring to schools and local colleges around Derby.
Karim has received a seed commission from Derby Theatre to work with survivors of forced marriages and honour based abuse on an exciting new play. (2018)
Karim is working with Pegasus Theatre on a new play for young people, exploring themes around radicalisation and extremism.
Karim’s short play, Mother Tongue will be shown at the Old Red Lion Theatre on 3rd and 4th December 2017.
Karim’s full length play, Orange Juice will be shown at The Pleasance, Islington on 2nd December 2017.
Karim’s play Prodigal Sister will be shown at Soho Theatre, as part of an industry showcase of short plays.
